About Gamma 

Gamma Brewing Co. is a modern and innovative micro brewery located in Herlev, just outside Copenhagen, brewing a wide variety of different beer styles, but focusing primarily on hop-forward beers. 

Founded in 2015, we have seen continued growth ever since, and finalized a major expansion to our new facility in Herlev in 2021, with a capacity of up to 30.000hL annually. 

In the fall of 2024 we will open a large new bar in Copenhagen NV featuring the full selection of Gamma beers, awesome food and good vibes. 

As part of that growth we are now looking to add more skilled persons to our team, specifically we are looking to hire an experienced brewer to join Gamma and be an integral part in the next steps of the Gamma journey.

The position:

At Gamma Brewing Co. your main responsibilities will be;

  • Brewing and quality control of wort production on a 30hL 4-vessel, semi-automatic SSV brewhouse
  • Other daily production related tasks including, yeast handling, fermentation management, dry-hopping, CO2 monitoring, etc
  • QC/QA monitoring of beer from brew all the way through to post-packaging
  • CIP and general cleaning
  • Help with packaging operations
  • Contribute to recipe creation
  • Keep track of raw material stock and maintain a tidy warehouse

Your main working location is at the brewery in Herlev, where you will be part of a small but dedicated team, however the position can include traveling to Danish and international festivals and events to represent the brewery along with other members of the Gamma team


The right candidate has:

  • A minimum of 2 years relevant brewing experience in a comparable brewery
  • EU-residency / the ability to legally work in Denmark
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Residency in, or a willingness to relocate to Copenhagen or the surrounding area
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive and committed attitude
  • The ability to multitask, quickly solve problems and think on your feet

Additional desired qualifications:

  • Valid forklift license
  • Relevant brewery qualification (IBD, Brewing MSc, etc…)
  • Danish language skills
  • Category B driver’s license
